Symphony at Del Sur a 171-unit affordable housing community in Rancho Bernardo, brings a warm, welcoming sense of home to its residents. Developed by Affirmed Housing with architecture by Dahlin, the interiors were designed to feel bright, comfortable and genuinely elevated, reflecting the belief that thoughtful design belongs in every community.

DesignX led the interior design, while Handbuilt provided custom fabrication and full FF+E procurement, carrying a cohesive vision from concept through installation. Warm wood ceiling beams and a sculptural brass chandelier crown the double-height lobby, while fluted panels, bold geometric tile and black steel framing add texture and rhythm. In the community room, cognac leather seating, plaid lounge chairs and a fluted fireplace surround create a space that feels both inviting and refined.
